I learned to program on embedded devices, and later moved to iOS development in Objective-C and Swift. Most recently, I've been exploring functional programming in Scala. I'm interested in security principles and applied cryptography. And if I can ever find some spare free time, I would love to try out Rust!
I've been developing iOS apps since the iOS 3.0 days. I learned Swift when it first released with the help of exercism.io. I enjoy helping others learning the language, I always seem to learn a bit more myself.
I have been programming for around 5 years using various languges and technologies. Currently, I focus on Swift and iOS development. I am excited to mentor for Swift and join Exercism's Objective-C track as a student!
I love swift! I've been an iOS developer since iOS 3 and developing in Swift for over 2 years now at a large iOS company. I love the community surrounding swift, everyone has been so supportive. I'm hoping to help the developers grow and learn somethings myself along the way as well.
I've been programming since High School, but only started professionally in the late '90s.
I started professional development of iOS apps in early 2010 and started using Swift professionally the day after its release.
I have been using Swift professionally for the last 5+ years. It is a wonderful language and evolving quickly. My overall software design experience extends to a little over 2 decades in multiple industries including health care, fintech, and logistics.
I've been programming for about 40 years, rolling through the ranks of Basic, Pascal, C, Fortran, COBOL, OCaml, and F#. Now I use Swift for most of my programming, having picked it up with the 3.0 release. Also, I can probably eat more tacos than you.
Swift is my favorite language! I've been using Swift for 6 years (1 professionally) and it's a joy to read AND write. I'm excited to introduce developers to the language and learn from all of you as well.
